　　 Shanghai OnStar launched its mobile app. in Jun. 2011, which is the only telematics service in China that offers a vehicle integrated mobile phone application. Users can conveniently utilize the functions of a traditional smart key via their mobile phones, such as horn and lights, and door lock/unlock. In addition, users can check mileage, fuel level and tire pressure. Furthermore, the mobile application currently provide remote start function to the users of four specific vehicle models of SAIC-GM, including 2011 Escalade and SRX of Cadillac, New LaCross and Enclave of Buick.

　　 上海安吉星信息服務有限公司（“安吉星”）是美國通用汽車、上汽集團和上汽通用汽車于2009年10月28日正式新建立的合資公司，總投資額超過3億元人民幣，并于2009年底為上汽通用汽車在中國生產、銷售的旗下各主力車型提供汽車安全信息服務。作為通用汽車和上汽集團各自的全資子公司，OnStar和上海汽車工業銷售有限公司分別持有安吉星40%的股權，而雙方在華合資企業上汽通用汽車公司持有安吉星的20%股權。
